Our mission is to foster the economic growth, inclusive diversity, and shared prosperity of greater Flushing through advocacy, networking, and education.
The Greater Flushing Chamber of Commerce is a multicultural membership association of entrepreneurs, business owners, and civic leaders in the most diverse community in New York.
Our Chamber represents the fastest growing and most dynamic business community in the United States. Attracting firms from around the world- two dozen languages are spoken by our businesses- we are already an international trade hub and the fourth largest commercial district in New York. As the center of small business activity in the metropolitan region- 90% of our 6,000 firms have less than 10 workers- we are also the new face of American entrepreneurship. Yet, many of our small business owners face great hardship and often do not get the assistance and resources they need from our government.
With your support– we have accomplished much- establishing Flushing’s first community night market at Flushing Town Hall, creating a free English program with Monroe College, connecting local businesses with hundreds of skilled workers at our Green Job Fair, advocating for better transit and infrastructure investment, establishing a new model for entrepreneurs to build credit. Join us as we celebrate these accomplishments and more!
The mission of Flushing Council on Culture and the Arts (FCCA) is to present multi-disciplinary global arts that engage and educate the global communities of Queens, New York and New York City, New York, in order to foster mutual appreciation. As advocates of arts equity since 1979, we support local, immigrant, national, and international artists, developing partnerships and collaborations that enhance our efforts.
